Kroda, Hunor, Gungnir, Bully Boys and H8machine

Ukrainian Pagan metal band Kroda was attacked by Antifa after their gig in Warsaw Poland Thursday.

The attackers demolished the band's car, destroyed the instruments, and seriously injured members of the band. Subsequently, the band was forced to discontinue their mini-tour through Poland, Germany, and Austria.

The Hungarian grind band, Gungnir decieded to support the popular Hungarian webzine Underground Revolution, by giving them a previously unreleased song which can be heard HERE.

Now available at BHS Service: the first full-length CD of the Hungarian RAC band Hunor, called "Küldetéstudat". 10 brand new songs, the lyrics are in Hunagrian.

Several of the scheduled European tour dates for the Bully Boys & H8machine have been posponed for currently unknown reasons. Organizers have not revealed any further information, yet.

Solo project from Joe (Tears Of Frustration, Last Battalion, Across The Hudson, Hatelordz, H8machine, ect). Definitly highly recommended if you're into oldschool sounding hardcore with real everyday life lyrics. Not to mention he covers YDL's Blue Pride making this album an instant classic in my opinion. Definitly worthy of picking up, you wont be disappointed. ~Steve Skam

H8machine

The vocalist of H8machine, Dennis Dent, participated in an interview for a recent issue of Spin magazine. In the interview Dennis drew comparisons between the success of Rage Against the Machine and other openly communist bands versus his band. The article, which was published, apparently never cited the interview with Dennis.

However, another interview with Dennis did get published in the current issue of Heeb magazine. The article by Maxwell Williams discusses the evolution of the "skinhead movement," which puts H8machine proudly at the front. When Williams asked about the this specifically, Dennis replied, "Realistically, 99 percent of the songs that I write have nothing to do with race. Any song could be read into and perceived any way [the listeners] want."

Dennis would go on later to ask why is it that he must dissociate himself for success? He then affirms that there are plenty of bands that are anti-white and openly violent. Perhaps this very notion is the reason his interview never made it to the pages of Spin. Does the same message being sent from other lips communicate differently? Obviously.

H8machine has helped to raze some of the horrid music of our past and build new stronger messages. As the quality of music productions being released increase, our message can only persevere. We applaud the bands that push relentlessly forward in a progressive manner. The continued eschewing of our music only drives us further, in turn, only making our voices louder.

This Month's Featured Artist: H8machine

This month's featured artist are New Jersey heavy hitters H8machine. Since the band's creation, following the demise of Dying Breed, the band has focused on producing quality hardcore. While the band was rumored to have broke up for some time during the mid 2000's they came back in full force with their latest release, "One Less Reason To Smile," to further reinforce they are still one of America's leading outfits.

While the band has had several membership change-ups, H8machine has filled the ranks with a sort of all-star line-up now. Original member Dennis is the lead vocalist and original guitarist, before it became a 4 piece outfit. Now on guitars, Joe Frustration of Hatelordz, Last Batallion, Across the Hudson, Tears of Frustration, Grom and of course his self titled work, has been a strong additon to the band. In addition to the two Jersey members is Orange County native Roy on bass. Known for his work in Aggressive Force, Final War, Cut Throat, Tri-City Trashed, Warfare 88 and most recently his works with Big Ed up in Minnesota; Roy brings a large ammount of creative talent to the band as well. Recently the band has added a new drummer to the ranks, and is scheduled to play several European shows this summer.

Second Class Citizen: Demo 2008

Anyone with the slightest knowledge on the hardcore coming out of Germany, knows that is is one of the leaders in the hardcore movement right now. 2NDCC proves it with their 7 track onslaught, filled entirely with pure energy. Best of all they almost have a newer Agnostic Front sound mixed with very melodic bridges that mesh nicely. A must have for any serious connoisseur of the genre. ~Steve Skam

H8machine: One Less Reason To Smile

If there was a reward for a band that consistanly releases hard-hitting, anger-ladden, yet positive albums...that reward would go to H8machine. On their latest installment you can expect an explosive arsenal of crushing vocals from Dennis who is nicely paired with Joe Frustration (from Tears of Frustration, Last Battalion, and Hatelordz fame). Musically it's oldschool styled and the lyrics are angry, which in my opinion makes this the best release to date. Pick it up if you haven't already, definitly worthy of heavy rotation. ~Steve Skam

Slavia: End To Peace
(2008 Cause Of Honor records)

Talented Polish hardcore band out of NYC that play more of an oldschool style. To say that these guys took me by suprise with their debut, would be an understatement. What a great sound, a nice blend of mostly English vocals with a few Polish songs. Keep your eyes out for them, their future is very promising. ~Steve Skam

Code 13, Tri-City Trashed, The Caucazoids

After 10 years since their last performance, Tampa's own Code 13 had a successful reunion show at the annual Saint Patrick's Day concert in Florida this month, is reportedly working on brand new material. Only two of the original members reside in the Florida area, while the vocalist Gideon resides in Australia, causing the long hiatus since their 1999 release of "Blood, Sweat, Beer" on Hatefront records.

Originally the vocalist in Southern Cross and later Blood Oath from Australia, Gideon has not remained stagnant in the least bit during Code 13's long time off. Gideon was involved in many different projects and is reportedly working on something new here in the states, Flack Jacket.

Orange county rockers Tri-City Trashed are working on material for their 2nd full length release. TCT features Roy of Final War, Aggressive Force, Cut Throat, H8machine etc. on vocals, and carries much of that same Final War energy into this project.

The band's first release "One Life" was quite successful in many different circles, however, many people continue to ask about the future of Roy and Final War...

Hardcore pyshcobilly band The Caucazoids, featuring members of Break the Sword and Slay the Beast, have released a CDR 4 song demo including a Platoon 14 cover and the band is reportedly working on new material for a full length album.

H8machine, Tattooed Mother Fuckers, Lebensessenz

H8machine reportedly has added a new drummer to the membership of the band. The band is practicing and working on material for upcoming live performances. The band has also recently updated their long stagnent website with an excellent layout, complete band bio and live pictures.

The split album between Tattooed Mother Fuckers and The Gits scheduled to be released has fallen through. The tracks recorded by TMF are now being released seperately on a mini CD under the album title "The Mother Fucking Army," available through Thug Beat Productions. A vinyl version of the release will be available also.

Neoclassical project Lebensessenz has rccently finished some newest material, works 9 and 10. Both pieces were written as personal reflections. Nine is an homage to the artist's father drawing from both good and bad, childhood and adult. Work ten a story of romance.

A side project of Lebensessenz, Feuerberg, is an eclectic ambient / atmospheric using drums and keyboards. The artist describes this specific project as, "music with mixed influences, like Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Vinterriket, Vangelis and for sure my own project Lebensessenz." These newest works as well as previous material is available through Lebensessenz mailorder.
