NEWS: New Clothing Line. IN REVIEW: Pure Hate, Blood Order Co and Pitbull Farm

Vocalist Major Williams, of Brainwash, has announced the production of a brand new clothing line, Dryve By Suizhyde. When we got the chance to speak with the Major about the new apparel line this week, he stated he was very excited about several new designs coming out in the near future. To check out other designs visit HERE.

Pure Hate: My Enemy
(2006)

Good solid release from this Polish hardcore/ metalcore band. My only gripe is that there's only 5 songs and it's a mini-CD, other than that it'd definitely worthy of picking up. Songs sung in Polish and English. ~Steve Skam
Track list-
01- My Enemy
02- Czas Nienawisci
03- Wiecznosc
04- Blood 4 Blood
05- Nowa Generacja

Blood Order Company: s/t
(2008 Final Stand records)

Awesome debut album from this NS hatecore/ viking metalcore outfit hailing from Pennsylvania. I've been listening to this album in anticipation of their new one that's coming out soon. Flawless would be a word that best describes this band's arsenal. Pick this up if you haven't already, satisfaction guaranteed. ~Steve Skam
Track list-
01- Enter The Halls Of Valhalla
02- Knight's Cross
03- March To War
04- Old Glory
05- Heritage
06- Farewell (prelude)
07- Open Sea
08- A New Land
09- Mjollnir
10- In The Halls Of Valhalla

Pitbull Farm: s/t
(2002 Pitbull Farm records)

Rad psychobilly project and very catchy album by Jocke Karlson of Pluton Svea fame. If you're musically open minded and are looking for something different i highly recommend this one, you'll find yourself taping your feet and singing along in no time. Not to mention there's a few covers, most notably Skullhead's "Wish The Lads Were Here" making this one a classic for sure. ~Steve Skam
Track list-
01- Army Of Assholes
02- Die Tired
03- Love Song
04- Jesse James
05- Human Erection
06- I Wanna See You Dead
07- Wish The Lads Were Here
08- Deranged Desperado
09- Thursday Is Friday
10- Don't Think Twice
11- Hillbilly Hepcat

INTERVIEW: Blood Order Company

We missed last week's interview, simply because I was out of town and by the time I remembered to put it up it was already early Monday morning. Anyways, this interview has been in my inbox for several weeks now and I kept forgetting to post it. So... better late than never, here is an interview with Blood Order Company by Urise Direct's Steve Skam. Sorry guys I didn't forget about you, can't wait to hear the new album!

Blood Order Company's first self titled album was an underground success and well received, what can we expect musically on the follow-up?
Many of the tempos have greatly quickened pace & the arrangements have become more complex...there are a total of eleven tracks including one instrumental. It's fast & sounds like a monster. We have taken more of a hatecore approach to the songwriting this time as opposed to viking metal

Musically you guys are all over the place fusing together viking metal with hardcore, how would you describe your style of playing to someone who's never heard BOC before?
We are a fusion of hatecore & progressive metal with a white nationalist message. The term NS metalcore has been used in reference to our style.

Who are some of the bands you guys cite as influential?
Blue Eyed Devils, Fear Rains Down, Empire Falls, At the gates, Brutality, Death, Dissection, In Cold Blood, Iron Maiden, Mercyful Fate, old Metallica, Neurosis, Opeth, Sheer Terror, S.O.D.

What's your favorite band/ bands at the moment?
Amon Amarth, Battlelore, Cataract, Ensiferum, Opeth, Symphony X, Wintersun.

So, aside from the new release any other projects or concepts in the works?
A new Wotanorden & Tyranath will be released soon.

What's your thought's on the importance of Odinism and keeping the faith alive?
We have a great respect for Nordic heritage & tradition. It's definitely very important to keep our history alive so that we can pass it on to future generations.

Anything else you'd like to add?
It's a honour to have the opportunity to contribute to our movement in this way & have others appreciate it. Thank you to all!

Rick's Pick: Brainwash - Moments of Truth; Blood Order Co.

The past few weeks I have been posting CD`s that are on the top of my playlist. Along side the previously Rick's Ricks, this week`s pick has been in constant play this entire time. I find myself listening to it more than any other CD I currently own. The Brainwash "Moment Of Truth" CD has got to be, in my opinion, the best metal CD to come out of our scene.
This CD is straight out metal with political and revolutionary lyrics. My favorite of which being the song "Thank You," which expresses disgust with all the corruption and degradation to our society. The song ends brilliantly with repetition of the line, "...Destroy what is destroying you!" ~Rick 56
Honestly, I have to agree in this being one of the best releases to date! Out of my large collection, the CD never wonders too far from the player. ~Doug Sacred

Unfortunately our previously scheduled sit down with the members of popular metalcore at Blood Order Company has been postponed indefinitely. We will still be providing an interview with the band in the very near future, just not as originally planned.

Guns of the Patriots, Blood Order Co., Slap In The Face

New Italian band Guns Of The Patriots, are scheduled to perform live at Skinhouse Itlaia with UK legends Bulldog Breed. GOTP could be described as hardcore/metalcore with undertones of melodic work. The arrangements at times remind me of Ttania, mainly because of the obvious energy the singer conveys while performing. At times the vocals are sung in a full melodic style, obviously influenced by today's popular emo scene.

The band has only released a self titled demo to date, but I look forward to any future releases by this outfit. Samples of their music is available HERE.

Blood Order Company has been in the studio for several weeks now are almost completely wrapped up recording for their newest release. The band said they need to finalize a few details and send it off for mastering.

Uprise Direct is scheduled to sit down with the guys from the band in the near future for a candid interview in addition to some bonus video material.

Mentioned previously, on Uprise Direct, was the side project of Dirty Chris of Attack/No Alibi/Kill or Be Killed and Reno of White Wash/Straight Laced Nightmare. Samples of this earlier announced project have become available online HERE.

The project, titled Slap In The Face, is aggressive oldschool hardcore. While the band plans to release with German label OPOS records, the entire line-up is uncertain and whether or not this will be a live performing band is yet to be determined. We hope hitting the stage is in the plans for the future.

Slavia Interview, Temnozor

Slavia performed live from a small local show on Saturday, March 21, 2009, I got a chance to talk to the guys tonight and ask them some questions about the band and the recent show.

What was the show and why wasn't I invited?
[Laughs] Well, actually it's only us jamming. More of a rehersal with a bunch of friends watching. It was real last minute, sorry.

How many people were there at the show?
About 25 friends who just came out to have a good time.

What's new with the band?
Slavia had recently added a second guitarist to the line-up and we are currently writing/recording material for a future release.
Just been busy, working on some new material and beside that everything is going good,

Other than this past weekend, what do you guys have going on as far as shows?
We have a few shows coming up. One in April, in "Baa-stin" [Boston] and then a show in Virginia, maybe a few smaller shows in between. Hopefully playing Philadelphia soon, with Blood Order Company.

How has feedback from the album been?
Really good, surprisingly. We recorded at a shitty studio and were real unhappy with the release but overall we have been getting great replies. It's great to hear your own music being played and enjoyed by other people.

What sort of projects do you have lined up for the future?
Been talking with Scorch from Empire Falls about doing a split with them. I imagine it'll be some hardcore straight to the face shit. Hopefully soon, we will record couple of new songs to debut on the split.

Aside from the band what have you guys been doing?
Me personally, I've been busy with college, work, and MMA training.

Busy with work and school also. The rest of the guys are good, pretty much the same busy with work and college.

Thanks a lot for the quick set of questions guys, I'm sure I'l talk with you guys soon.
Yeah thanks alot man, anytime. Hopefully we'll see you soon too.

Temnozor's new album, originally planned to be released late in 2008 has been delayed over 6 months. The band hopes it will be finished soon with the conceptual layout design and hopes it to be out around June. Other than that, they plan to record a few songs for their Jubileum CD, which will include our own songs and many covers from local (Russian, Ukrainean and Belarussian) bands.

Blood Order Co. & Wotanorden...In the Studio

Up and coming metalcore band Blood Order Company is currently in the studio recording their sophmore release for FSR. The band just finished laying down the drum tracks this past week and will be laying the vocals some time very soon. those of you not familiar with this band, the drummer as well as everyone in the band is extremely talented and expect nothing but the best.
The BOC drummer also plays in the black metal bands Wotanorden and his personal project Eingar. He was also briefly the drummer for Fear Rains Down playing live with the band several times in Europe and recording the tracks featured on the UTE release "Hardcore Until the End." The other members were also involved in the now stagnent act Blue Collared Saints who were scheduled to record their debut with Hatefront Records but have reportedly have not done so.

After a several month break, black metal outfit Wotanorden is also currently writing new material and recording for their upcoming third release titled "The Hands of Fate" due out in late 2009. We will be sure to keep you informed on any additonal information as we obtain it.
You can visit the official Wotanorden site HERE.
