Ricks Pick: Asynja- Through The Misty Air
Before I post this Rick`s Pick I have to say I am a sucker for female vocals if they are done right. One reason I really got into country music was because of the abundance of female singers. That being said I have chosen the Swedish band Asnyja for their cd Through The Misty Air. This particular cd actually features two female vocalists who I believe are sisters. The music is clean folkish metal with some nice guitar solos in places. The lyrics focus mostly on our Pagan Gods and Goddesses, wars and battles, etc. Did I mention I love the dual female vocals?
